Class Dances: Level 3 Zimmerman (2:15) Starving for Control Costume.Music. As these four elegant dancers in blue and gold take the stage, there seems to be perfect unity between them. But as one cuts in front of another and each girl starts to shove the others out of the way, chaos ensues!

This folk dance inspired piece will start the show off with a dose of sweet, good-natured charm - except that one of these lovely dancers has been left out! As this girl chasses around the group, starving to be accepted, the others ignore her - that is, until one kind soul reaches out, takes her hand, and invites her to join the dance.

Adult Zimmerman Starving for Love Music. Nicknamed "Queen of Crows," this piece is inspired by the new movie Maleficent. There will be two "henchmen" in this costume, a Queen of Crows with wings and a raven-feather mask, and an "innocent princess" character in this costume. The evil queen predictably tries to destroy the innocent princess, but at the last second, just before the fatal blow falls, the princess leaps up and embraces the queen. The queen is shocked. It was not the girl but the queen who was really the one starving for love.

Extra Pieces: Extra Piece for Adults, Guest Dancers, and Level 3 Starving for Food Costume. (in rust red, like Ugandan soil.) Music. The piece that defines this performance, this multi-class epic will demonstrate the physical ache of literal hunger in a powerful way.
Extra Piece for "Featured" Adults and Guest Dancers Starving for Courage Costume. (in silver.) Soloist Costume.Music. Featuring Faith from Level 3 Zimmerman as Soloist, this piece has been on my mind for a long time. The emotional heart of the ballet, this piece will feature a long-caged soul trying to escape from her fears.
Guest Dancers Starving to be Found In the past two years, I have invited dancers from Jenni West's studio in Big Lake to perform as guests in my ballets. Their involvement inspires my students to work hard and to aspire to their level of achievement. These dancers do not commit to the performance until later this year, but if some of Jenni's students decide to take this opportunity, this will be their pointe piece. Costume (probably).Music. Lost in a blizzard, a young girl, featured soloist Kayla from Level 2 Zimmerman, is starving to be found.
Solos and Trios: Trio: Lydia from Level 2 Waite Park and Morgan and Willow from Adult Waite Park Starving for Admiration Costume. Music undecided. These characters aren't just longing for a chance at the lights and drama of a real stage, they are starving to be admired.
Solo: first year pointe student Willow Starving to be Free Costume.Music 1.Music 2. (fingers crossed for finding a way to cut these together to show her music box moments and real dancer moments!) A music box ballerina wants to be a real ballerina and dance to the song in her heart.
